Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available in many forms:

Canadian Tire Corporation founded the Jumpstart program in 2005 to help families overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and recreation.

Jumpstart funding is for children between ages 4-18 years old, for up to $300 per activity with an annual maximum amount of up to $600 per child.

Applications should be submitted prior to the activity start date. The application process is completed on-line at Jumpstart.

KidSport provides grants for children and youth 18 years and under for up to $250 per eligible child, per calendar year (January 1 - December 31) towards sport registration fees.

If you live in Sherwood Park or Strathcona County, please apply to KidSport Alberta.

If you have an Edmonton address, please apply to KidSport Edmonton.

If you live in Fort Saskatchewan, please apply to KidSport Fort Saskatchewan. (Note: The KidSport Fort Saskatchewan chapter can provide up to $400 per eligible child, per calendar year.)

SPDSA Inclusion fund supported by First Call

Sherwood Park Soccer is excited to announce our partnership with First Call Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing!

We want to make sure no child is left off the field, so we’ve partnered with First Call Heating to create the SPDSA Inclusion Fund.

First Call believes all kids have the right to play and enjoy the lifelong benefits that team sport provides.

The SPDSA Inclusion Fund will provide financial assistance to cover registration costs for those families who need it.

Together, we’ll make sure the sport of soccer can be enjoyed by all!

To apply, please email our office.
