Junior Coaches Camp
Phoenix FC - Junior Coaches Camp
This camp is especially designed for our current junior coaches and for players that want to become junior coaches. It is a way for our club to give back to all of you that have chosen to take a leadership within our club as a junior coach.
What to Expect
- 1:30-2:00pm: Classroom and Introduction to
- Designing the player you want to be(come) in preparation of creating your visualization video.
- Guidance and collaboration on engaging with the Habit Tracker and developing an IDP
- Brainstorming ESP deposits
- 2:00 - 2:30pm: Athletic Development
- 2:30 - 4:00pm: On field guided discovery activities
- In smaller cohorts; run by players for players with facilitation by tech staff. Share and facilitate your favourite activity (game).
Note: the classroom session will have a virtual classroom follow up later in February!
Participants: Boys and Girls
Cost: FREE for current Junior Coaches and new Junior Coaches.
Location: Phoenix FC Facility (#170 - 3001 Buckingham Drive, Sherwood Park)
Dates: February 8, 2024
Times: 1:30-4:00pm
Required Equipment:
- Note-taking items (pens/pencils/notebooks/paper)
- Shinpads
- Proper footwear (running shoes are acceptable)
- Bring a snack and ample fluids.
