Goal Keeper Clinic with Joe Corrigan

The SPDSA is excited to offer a goal keeper clinic for U12 to U18 players

The clinic will be held the following dates:

Sunday July 5th 

U12 9:00am to 10:30am

U14 10:30am to 12:00pm

U16 to U18  12:00pm to 1:30pm


Tuesday July 7th

U12 to U14  6:00pm to 7:30pm

U16 to U18  7:30pm to 9:00pm


Thursday July 9th

U12 to U14  6:00pm to 7:30pm

U16 to U18  7:30 to 9:00pm


The clinic is open to SPDSA members only.  The cost is only $30.00  Register Online

Bio for Joe Corrigan

Began his career at Manchester City making his professional debut in 1967. In the 1969–70 season, he established himself as the first choice 'keeper at Maine Road making 592 appearances, winning the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and League Cup twice, while also earning nine England caps. He left in 1983 for the Seattle Sounders, then returned to England for spells with Brighton & Hove Albion, Norwich City and Stoke City before retiring in 1985.

Corrigan was the Goalkeeping Coach at Liverpool, from 1994 until 2004 before brief spells at Chester City then Stockport County. In 2005, Corrigan joined West Bromwich Albion before retiring from coaching at the end of the 2008–09 season.

In 2011 Corrigan came out of retirement to join Hull City as goalkeeping coach. Today he maintains a role in the England Youth National Teams setup.


The SPDSA is giving coaches a great opportunity to develop and further their knowledge of the game.
Three of Canada's top coaches will be leading an evening of learning and discussion.
The event is FREE for all current SPDSA Coaches.

Volunteers Needed - July 1st Canada Day Celebrations

Strathcona County puts together a great day to celebrate Canada Day but needs the help of volunteers to make it all happen. Various roles and times are required to be filled. For more information visit the
